Privacy Policy
Effective July 23, 2026
ClaimPDF is a local-first macOS app. This policy explains what the app accesses and how your files and preferences remain under your control.
Local processing and no account
Receipt recognition, duplicate review, PDF template processing, preview, and report generation take place locally on your Mac.
ClaimPDF does not require an account and does not upload your receipts or templates to ClaimPDF servers.
Files and permissions
ClaimPDF accesses only the receipt files, PDF templates, and export locations you select.
You can revoke file access in macOS settings. Revoking access may prevent ClaimPDF from reopening those files until you select them again.
Preferences and exported files
Applicant details, template settings, and report-language preferences are stored locally in the app container.
Exported files remain under your control in the locations you choose. Deleting ClaimPDF together with its app container removes the locally stored preferences; exported files you saved remain yours to manage.
App privacy and website security
The ClaimPDF macOS app does not use analytics, advertising, cookies, or tracking technologies.
The public ClaimPDF website is hosted behind Cloudflare. Cloudflare may set an essential bot-management and security cookie such as __cf_bm and load a security challenge script to protect the site. ClaimPDF does not use that cookie or script for advertising, analytics, or behavioral tracking.
ClaimPDF does not sell or share your data with third parties.
Changes and contact
The ClaimPDF app itself does not transmit or share your files or personal data during operation.
If you voluntarily email support, your message is transmitted through your email provider and handled by Google/Gmail as the provider of ClaimPDF’s support mailbox.
Support uses your email and message only to answer your request or resolve the issue. They are not sold, are retained only as long as necessary for support, and are deleted when no longer needed.
Do not attach receipts, PDF templates, reports, or other sensitive files to a support email.
If this policy changes, the effective date on this page will be updated.
