ClaimPDF Support

Follow the steps below to prepare a complete claim PDF or resolve common import, review, template, and export issues.

Quick start

  1. Import the PDF, JPG/JPEG, PNG, or HEIC receipt files you want to include.
  2. Review OCR fields and correct any values that need attention.
  3. Review suspected duplicates and choose which receipts to keep.
  4. Select your PDF claim template, map its fields, and preview the result.
  5. Choose a report language, clear any export gates, and export the report with the original receipts appended.

Requirements and supported files

  • A Mac running macOS 14 or later.
  • Receipt formats: PDF, JPG/JPEG, PNG, and HEIC.
  • A user-selected PDF template if you want to produce the report in your own form.

Troubleshooting

An encrypted or damaged PDF will not open

Remove the PDF password or export a repaired copy in another PDF app, then import the new file.

ClaimPDF cannot access a file

Select the file again. You can also review ClaimPDF’s file permissions in macOS settings.

OCR text or amounts are incorrect

Open the receipt in the review step and correct the recognized fields before export.

A receipt is marked as a duplicate

Compare the suspected duplicates and choose which copy belongs in the report. ClaimPDF does not decide for you.

Template values appear in the wrong fields

Open the template mapping, assign each ClaimPDF value to the intended PDF field, and preview again.

Export is blocked

Review the export gates shown in the app, resolve missing required values or template mappings, then preview and export again.
